In Australia, the Multiplex Group was acquired by Brookfield Asset Management in 2008 and Brookfield's Australian operations now include commercial office, retail, construction and development, property management services and infrastructure.  Brookfield's Residential division comprises a number of different development companies around the world, ensuring our customers benefit from Brookfield's collective knowledge, skills and experience from award-winning projects in Australia, New Zealand and North America.

Brookfield's residential business in Australia adopted the name Brookfield Residential Properties in September 2010.
